Q:Which rubber material has better UV rays resistance?

A:VMQ (Silicone Rubber) and FVMQ (Fluorosilicone Rubber)

VMQ shows excellent heat resistance, cold flexibility,dielectric properties and especially good resistance to weather, ozone and UV rays.
Specific VMQ formulations are resistant to aliphatic engine and gear oils, water up to +212°F (+100°C) and highmolecular chlorinated hydrocarbons. 

The temperature range is between -75°F and +400°F (-60°C and +200°C) (temporary up to +450°F (+230°C)).


FVMQ has good heat resistance, very good low temperature flexibility, good electrical properties and excellent resistance to weather, ozone and UV rays.
FVMQ shows significantly better chemical resistance than standard Silicone especially in hydrocarbons, aromatic mineral oils,
fuel and low molecular aromati UV raysc hydrocarbons, such as Benzene and Toluene. 

The temperature range is between -70°F (-55°C) and +350°F(+175°C) (temporary up to 400°F (+200°C)).
