Description
The DB/DC Rotary Shaft Oil Seal has two opposing spring loaded elastomer lips and a metal housing, stainless steel clamp springs provide a constant, even load to each elastomer lip on the shaft to ensure seal life. During higher shaft speeds, the spring brings the elastomeric lip into contact with the shaft and also helps to counteract the compressive deformation and wear of the lip material that normally occurs.
Standard Lip Materials:
NBR: temperature -10/+100 ℃
FKM: Temperature -20℃ / +200℃
Shaft surface speed: 10.2 m/s, depending on pressure
Maximum pressure: 0 to 0.5 bar, depending on shaft speed
Typical application:
For general pressure applications requiring bi-directional fluid separation or decontamination.
